"I would just like to take a moment to thank you and all your staffs for an excellent job, and for making our stay in Hanoi so enjoyable. We have been traveling for over 7 months in South East Asia and your hotel has been the best we have encountered so far. Your staffs are very professional and courteous and every member from cleaning staffs, reception to manager made us feel welcome and at home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to the Hanoi area. Thanks again for making our stay so pleasant, your hotel should be one that all other hotels hope to duplicate. Christ "

This place is fantastic! They have a great location, and extremely helpful staff. Enjoyable breakfast, too. Hanoi was actually tolerable due to their assistance. The prices of the trips that they post are a little expensive, so it might be wise to shop around.

This hotel is all about service. The staff and managers simply cannot do enough for you, but they are never intrusive. The hotel itself is beautifully located near Hoan Kiem Lake, in the Old Quarter.

This hotel is gorgeous. Just walking a couple of minutes, you can enjoy the beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi. It’s very fantastic when watching the Old Quarter from the street view of my room. The traffic is very crazy here. No problem, because that the way Hanoi is. Old Darling Hotel II is the best hotel that we’ve stayed with when traveling in Vietnam. I read lots of good reviews about it, and then decided to stay there for 4 nights. I cannot have any complains about their service. The room is clean and very comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the travel service is great with the satisfaction guaranteed!

"^~^ !!!!!!!!!!!! Great !"

Thank you for making our short stay in the Old Quarter so interesting and enjoyable. You were always available to answear our questions and offer suggestions, and your assistance allowed us to experience the real flavour of Vietnam, especially Hanoi.
Thank for organising the Halong Bay tour-the price was exellent value for money and the quality of good, accommodation and sightseeing was better than some of the other big name tour groups we looked into.
We wish you lots of health, happiness and prosperity for the future, and will recommend you to our friends! Thanks for everything.

Some of the rooms in Asia Queen Hotel looked new and neat - amenities were quite complete. However the manager-in-charge transferred my friends and I to neighbouring hotels (Camelia, etc) when we checked in, assuring us that it's the same, so it became confusing what rooms or even hotels you were supposed to get when you placed a booking. The rooms in neighbouring hotels were slightly sub-standard. Not a very pleasant experience when your expectations are not met or things are not delivered as promised. The hotel is located close to the lake and really bustling area of Old Quarters.

What I really didn't like at this hotel:
- we were suppose to get free pick up at the airport, but when we arrived to the hotel, owner wonted us to pay for the ride. Of course we didn't.
- we made a reservation for the best room they had (20$) and at first we got room without window and it wasn't clean. it was in mess. then we complained, got another room, which still wasn't the room we are paying for. then we requested new room and we finally got the room that was 'worth' 20$. luckily I printed all mails and reservation form..
- we had over 20 hours flight and at the same second that we arrived at the hotel, we were attacked with all offers they had for trips around Hanoi. of course we didn't make a reservation for any of those trips. as we found out later, the prices were doubled, some (as for open bus tour) were even tripled!
I really didn't like staff there, they are weary pushy. They have a guy there, who doesn't speak English, all he says is: trips here are very chip. Very chip. And you don't really get what you are paying for.
It was like: stupid tourists.

Me and my friends had a get-a-way weekend from our husbands to see a concert. After researching what seemed forever, we decided on this hotel, and I am glad we did. We checked in 30 minutes early, check-in was fast! The clerks at the desk where very nice. We got a top view room, it was over looking the highway. The windows where ceiling to floor basically, so the nightly view was gorgeous! The staff was very quick and efficient. When we got in our room the batteries where dead in the remote, I called front desk, within 5 minutes, maintenance knocked on door with fresh batteries. I felt very safe and secure, because security was always walking around the property. I was trying to come through the door with my luggage and the security man helped me with my bags and into my room. You don't see that often. The breakfast was good, and they let you take it back up to your room on trays. Always kept it well stocked. When they say black out curtains they aren't lying!! That was nice, when you wanted to be lazy and sleep in. The rooms do not have those floor air conditioners that make a lot of noise, all rooms had central air, with a digital thermostat to set the temperature. There where more than ample supplies of towels. The bed's where a dream! They had goose feather pillows. Each bed had 4 pillows and a spare in the closet, but we asked the maid for more, so we ended up with 10 pillows to snuggle with. Anything we asked of the maid, was always with a smile, never an attitude. The kitchen had everything you needed. This hotel had all the comfort of home! Check out was simple as well, you just called front desk tell them we are leaving, leave the keys on the table and your done. I highly recomment this hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location and our room was excellent. The pick up from the airport was very useful, especially as this was our first stop after a very long flight. The staff are helpful and we enjoyed an excellent trip to Halong Bay.
