We were there with a large group and we were a bit noisy,but the hosts were very helpful l.They printed maps when we needed , let us use the internet , watch soccer in the late hours. The place is fully equipped and very nice.
Some of the girls said that the only thing missing there is a mirror in the smallest bathroom(next to the kitchen) ;)
I recommend it for everybody!

Happy Hostel was the center of my Bucharest experience. I called the hostel from a nearby subway station and Georgi (of the dynamic Juana and Georgi duo) came out to the station to escort me to my lodgings which was a three minute walk away. One little turn off the noisy and chaotic main street and I found myself in a quiet cul-de-sac with singing birds and flowers in full-bloom.

From Juana and Giorgi I learned everything I needed to enjoy and benefit from my brief stay in Bucharest. They provided me with maps and directions to the most important sites. They advised me about local customs and they seemed genuinely interested in hearing about what I had seen and what it meant to me in addition to sharing their own experiences about life in their country.

I feel very fortunate to have happened upon this little gem. Juana and Giorgi have a tremendous sense of hospitality and the knowledge of their city to make your Bucharest experience the best it can be.

So slip on a pair of sandals from the heap outside the door and make yourself happy at Happy Hostel.
