Eileen and Tim have a lovely B&B conveniently located to downtown Kilarney. Eilleen is a warm hostess who makes you feel you are a guest in their home. We were there to play music as well as see the sites, and she and Tim came to see us at the Kilarney Avenues Hotel. We can't wait to come back! Lamento comentar que no fue una estancia cómoda ni agradable. Tuvimos problemas el día de la llegada, que nos supuso una hora aproximadamente de espera en el aparcamiento, teniendo en cuenta que fue de 22:30 a 23:30, más o menos. Al final, la propietaria explicó que era su día de descanso y tenía la costumbre de salir con su familia. La habitación era anticuada y poco funcional, aunque nos aviamos bien. El desayuno muy pobre, sobre todo en su elaboracíón. En otros sistios comimos lo mismo mucho mejor. En el momento de pagar también hubo dificultades. Como nos había cargado 100 euros en la tarjeta de crédito porque pensó que no íbamos a llegar el priimer día, me hizo firmar el recibo del datáfono, pero para pagar el resto del importe con tarjeta nos aplicaba un suplemento de un 3%, así que pagamos en metálico. Cuando le pedí una factura, la propietaria pareció no entender mi inglés y lo único que obtuve fue un precario recibo manuscrito. No lo recomiendo a nadie. Fue el primer bed&breakfast en el que estuvimos en Irlanda y los demás fueron mucho mejores. Quizás se deba a que Killarney es un sitio muy turístico y hay muchísimos alojemientos y turistas.
