I didn't do any comparison shopping so don't know how competitive their $40 price tag is, but we were very happy with this place. Great location near the lovely Hoan Kiem lake, nice spacious room, good amenities, and friendly service, especially from Mr. Hanh at the front desk. If it's within your budget you won't go wrong with this hotel.
