My stay in La Habana I can evaluate as very positive. The rooms are nice and clean and the people who run it very friendly. The breakfast although not very abundant it is selff serviced and glad to have.
I was in Rome in november so the prices were lower and the crowds smaller!The weather also quite pleasing.
Therefore if planning to go to Rome, do it in months like november and on my choice... in La Habana!

This place is safe, clean, comfortable, great location and affordable. It is a little hard to find, but perfect for budget travelers in Rome. Loved it and will return
