Villa San Marco is very close to the Valley of the Temples and so is very convenient. The problem is finding the place, we spent over an hour trying to locate it. We had asked for better directions and no one ever responded to our requests.

Hi - found this place very hard to find, very off the beaten track. Arrived late due to not being able to find the B&B at 6pm to find one of the rooms not ready. With that problem solved, we turned around and noticed the views - fantastic. Best feature with this B&B.
If you do not not being woken up from 4am with roosters crowing - this place is not for you.

"Nice B&B if you can find it....."

It took us 2 hours of driving around, asking four different times (in my best attempt at Italian, since few Sicilians speak English) to find this place. There is one sign in downtown Agrigento. It points you downhill towards the ruins, then you are supposed to miraculously know to drive down the dirt road next to the gas station, along a cement wall, etc. Upon checking out we discovered that they had forgotten to email us their special directions. Make sure you get this! Once there, however, it is very pleasant, and the hostess speaks English. There is a great view of the Valley of the Temples from the terrace where you have breakfast. Dinner is NOT included, so arrive after dinner so you don't have to find your way in and out again!
