Comments (English): The hotel was 1 minute walk from the lake and 2 minutes from the old quarter so it's location was perfect. The room was excellent, our first room with a balcony . There was a computer with internet access which was brilliant. We booked our trip to Ha Long Bay with the hotel and we were able to leave our luggage there overnight. When we returned we were given a different room, this room was also very clean. Although this room did not have a computer this was not a problem as there were 4 computers downstairs in the foyer.
The staff at the hotel were excellent, they gave good advice and recommendations. They gave us a free rooms to use for 3 hours before our night trip ( we already checked out of the hotel )
I would definately stay here again!!

Comments (English): My partner and I travelled for a month in Vietnam - starting in Hanoi. We booked in the Jasmine Hotel really not knowing what to expect and we were so pleasantly surprised with our choice that I would hate for other travellers to miss out on this! Spring and River run the hotel and were so helpful with every aspect of our stay. They made us feel so welcome and happily helped us out with bus, train and air tickets, tours, and anything we needed to know. We used the Jasmine Hotel as a base, as we took off to visit Halong Bay and Sapa, returning to the Jasmine inbetween. It ended up feeling like home! The rooms are smart and clean, very tastefully decorated and with all the mod-cons. If there was an issue with anything we only had to ring reception and someone was up in a flash to sort it out. The helpfulness and friendliness astounded us. The food in the restaurant was good too - the breakfasts set us up for the day and we really missed them after we left Hanoi. In short, this is a fabulous little hotel, in a great spot (in the heart of the Old Quarter). Value for money was great, but above all, the owners and staff made such a great impression on us that when we next visit Hanoi we would definitely stay there again.

Comments (English): If i fell in love in love with Hanoi, and prolonged my stay in a city that other travellers might find difficult and challenging, it is because of the comfort, the care, and the warm reception i received at Jasmine Hotel. The rooms are beautiful, of competetive value, and I would eagerly and irrefutibly recommend it to all ( - and am grateful that it was recommended to me!) Opened recently by the same proprieters of The Ritz Hotel (both situated in close proximity to the lake in The Old Quarter), Jasmine offers rooms which are beautiful, affordable, as well a loving, attentive, staff eager to accomodate and attend whatever needs i may have had. The couple that own and manage both hotels, River and Spring, are warm hearted, caring, and personable, setting a precedent for their employees , all of whom contributed substantially to my fond memories of this city. If the The Ritz Hotel, their older establishment, retains a more nostalgic, literary character, Jasmine is newly opened, with beautiful, boutique style rooms that are tastefully and impeccably designed, comparable to (if not surpassing!) those costing two or three times the price elsewhere. As stated at the outset, whatever fondness and affection I feel towards for Hanoi I must attribute to the concern, care, and comfort of my accomodations at Jasmine. I heartily reccomend it, and look forward to returning.
