While Nina is enthusiastic, it is a little odd that she didn't know how much my reservation was for, and didn't take the surcharge off what was due. But the room was OK, if a little pricey, and I am glad to have stayed in Split.

Comments (English):
NENA, offers comfortable and spacious rooms in a 2nd floor modern flat. Mine had a balcony with a view of the mountains and a little bit of sea. I received a warm welcome at 10.30 pm from the landlady's sister who lives next door. I walked into town in the morning which took me 20min. I took the bus back (cost 7KN from a kiosk)
There is no sign so look for No 88, not Apartments Nina which is nearby.
As a single traveler I was pleased to get a room for 25 euro per night but I understand this rate is no longer available.
With just a few improvements (bedside lights, larger towels, chairs on balcony, kettle.) these rooms could get a star rating.
