For a few hours sleep before an early flight and freshen up ahead of further travel, this hotel was satifactory. The cost $50 for a single room for one night) is high especially for the standard of hygiene and quality of furnishings. The receptionist attempted to suggest a higher cost than that offered online until I showed the reservation price. Not sure if this was an innocent mistake or...not.

Reception was friendly and offered a wake-up call. Water was hot initially though did go luke warm quickly despite the heater having been switched on for several hours. It was not so cold as to be a problem. Bed was comfortable. Mosquito net had a few small holes in but was adequate.

It was a shame to pay for bed and breakfast and not have the option of any kind of breakfast due to leaving so early. Given that the hotel services air travellers, it would be helpful to offer some kind of takeaway snack (chapati and banana, for example) and a self-service coffee and tea machine.

The area of the hotel location is not one where travellers unfamiliar with African neighbourhoods would be comfortable, despite the fact that it would be safe and it is easy to buy fruit and other food nearby even late at night.

It's very convenient if you hava a flight next morning or so. Just five min from the airport, but in a a kind of unatractive and somewhat scaryin. Staff is friendly, but english is just (perhaps) understood. You better take some snack along with you if at night, because options are few. Accomodations are ok.

Located 2 minutes from Dar Es Salaam airport, in quite a rough neighbourhood otherwise, this is strictly a motel to be used for transit.

The rooms reminded us of a bed in a doctors surgery, having said that they were clean as were the sheets. The only problem with the room was the all night glow through the high-uncurtained/un-blinded windows from the corridors lights. Other than that it was basic, but the water was hot!

We did not try the food, so cant comment.

Staff did not speak English but were helpful once it was clear what was being requested.

Overall, good value for USD 30 per night to fill a gap in transit.

transti motel ukonga è situato in zona non molto bella. il prezzo è economico le camere sono carine ma durante la notte c'è molto rumore, musica alta per il bar del motel che è sempre aperto e non si riesce a dormire.
il rapporto qualità prezzo è ok.
