Comments (English): Clean rooms and friendly staff makes my 2 day stay comfortable. The hotel manager /owner even had a mini celebration for all stayers on Christmas day. This cosy hotel which has less than 10 rooms is within walking distance to the water puppet theatre and many local food shop and stalls so it is rather convenient..

Comments (English): We stayed at the Hanoi Lucky Hotel for 4 nights in Jan 2008. We chose the hotel because of the great reviews on this site and very reasonable rates (35 US/night). We booked a superior room directly through this website. The decor was tasteful and the hotel had all the usual amenities (eg internet access, cable tv, a/c, laundry service) plus some extras you might not find elsewhere (eg bathroom scales). Location was great. Breakfasts were simple but nice and healthy. But what really makes the hotel so good is the "can do" attitude of all of it's staff and their genuine friendliness and helpfullness. All of the staff spoke very good English, nothing was a problem for them, and they went out of their way to be of service (much better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed at in Vietnam). We highly recommend this hotel, it lived up to our high expectations and it was a pleasure to stay there.

Comments (English): I enjoyed my stay in the hotel in k/l. The hotel was central to many of the main attractions the rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable.I found the safe-box located in the room added peace of mind and was easy to operate. Security at the hotel was superb.I Found the staff were very friendly and helpful. They guided me very suitable trips to Ha Long Bay and Sapa with best price. I certainly stay here again if I have time to come back to Hanoi.
