nice place ...good
We stayed i as two couples. The place was well located and as advertised. About 2 min. from termini so very easy. The street it is on is quite narrow though, and not a major road. We were happy with our choice, rooms were quiet and facilities good. Owner speaks english and was prompt and helpful. Our only gripe was the shower stall was a bit tacky. Open stairs to upper bedroom would not suit some, and yes there are a lot of stairs to the apartment. We would stay here again.

We booked that BB hoping to stay 4 nights in Rome in a nice environ. Our booking was a double room with a private bathroom and breakfast. Well, if you book the same don`t expect to get what you wanted to start with.

The time of estimated arrival is actually the time when you can enter the BB. We arrived 1 hour earlier and had to wait all that time in front of the building hoping anyone would show up (we had pre-paid the BB so we did hope desperately a bit someone would show up).
When we got into the BB nothing was as booked. We had to stay in a 4-bed room, had to share our bathroom and what`s more had to leave to another premises after 2 nights for another 2 (we had booked 4 nigths in BB Opera Street). You can imagine how angry we were!

All in all BB Opera Street is a nice place to stay if you know what it`s like up-front. Very clean, freshly renovated, large rooms. If you decide not to insist on your own bathroom it`s a place to book. I think we could find a better value for money in Rome if we didn`t want a bathroom on suite.

They moved us to Salus Hotel after 2 nights which is a 2-star hotel 5 min walking from BB Opera Street. Taht Hotel was a bit of a nightmare after BB Opera Street - dirty, old and depresing place to stay at.

All in all, no bathroom on suite in BB Opera Street so it should be a bit cheaper to my taste.

I think the owner decided to run his business based on cheating tourists. Being tired after a trip and willing to take a walk in Rome as quickly as possible we agree on anything they offer you despite the fact it doesn`t meet you expectations and the money paid for it.
